Our Purpose

To maintain the integrity of the church by being advocates to promote the love of God through fellowship and witnessing to the young men of our community. To encourage good stewardship of all things in life, strengthen family relationships, and build community leaders through sound doctrine and education.

                                                                     Mentoring Outreach Ministry

For centuries it was the responsibility of the older men in the community to take the boys out of the arms of their mothers and teach them how to be men. Somewhere along the way, older men in our society lost touch with their calling to steward young men in the community. As a result, the youth of today have developed their own forms of initiation into manhood. These initiations range from something as simple as car clubs to teen violence and gang activity. Young men in our communities are crying out for adult male role models who will take time for them as they make the journey into manhood. This period of a young man's life is filled with uncertainty and fear. With the help of an adult male role model, who sees him for who he is, the young man can become more conscious of the world around him and the tremendous potential awakening inside of him.

Through a structured yet informal program, we have created a unique and safe place where boys of all ages can regularly interact with committed, conscientious adult men. This process will mold and shape each young man into a "man of honor" by helping him discover his individual strengths, talents and gifts.  

Armed with strategies from this program and the Word of God, these young men can then develop positive life skills and goals that can be expressed in their lives and shared within their communities.
